Blues remain top after 24 - 8 bonus point win at Lutterworth

The Blues won a really hard fought game and the so important try bonus point was achieved with a last minute try!

Tries from Matt Nield, Shane Ling, Steve Fraher and the last minute effort from Josh Plowright plus two conversions from Joe Daniel saw the Blues not only take all 5 points but also take Lutterworths unbeaten home record stretching back 15 months.

The seconds lost at Lutterwoth and the 4ths and Colts were both beaten at Waverley Road by Mens Own and Oadby Wyggestonians respectively.

Next week top takes on bottom as the Blues entertain Melton Mowbray at Waverley Road as they continue to consolidate their position at the top of the league. Blues take the points in hard fought battle 43 - 3! No game is easy in this league and the Blues once again showed patience and got the win and the points to keep up the pressure!
Blues beat Leighton Buzzard and a Monsoon to go back to top of league! In the worst conditions of the season so far the Blues won 33 - 0 to take all 5 points and move back to the top of the table!
